BLOG HOP! with G45, Art Glitter and Want2scrap

Hi hi! Welcome to day 4 of the blog hop! Just a few more pops before the hop stops eh? (can you tell I'm a rhyming sort of gal?)

Anyways, here's the project I made that marries the lovely new BirdSong collection from Graphic45 with the soft shimmer of Art Glitter and the gentle sheen of want2scrap pearl stickers (do I sound like a catalogue? :)

It's an interchangeable photo frame - I made a space behind the paper strip with Chinese word on it where you can slot your picture in and change it whenever you like.  Or maybe put papers and a pen in so you can leave this by the phone for messages...

This is what I used:
Graphic45 Bird Song papers:
Want2Scrap - green pearls, small cream pearls
Art Glitter - Lichen Ultrafine Transparent.

I hope you've been enjoying the hop! Here are the prizes that are up for grabs:

Don't forget to hop on over to all my fellow G45 DT's awesome blogs and leave them a little hello:

Friends

This week I have had many reasons to be thankful for my friends:
1. friends who are willing to give their time to help me
2. friends who serve together and share the same heartbeat
3. new friends in class who are so generous and kind
4. friends at work to be silly and chat with

And in keeping with the theme, here are two cheery friend layouts:

1. MER - my super-talented, fun, awesome and pink-loving friend at work
2. Cousins who are friends (that's the best kind!)

And thank you, each of you who visits this little blog, for being a friend too! :)

Would You Carry This down Orchard Road?

Someone who attend this class said they would!  :) totally made my day!  In class, we made this little 'handbag' from scratch and covered it with lovely denim paper and other patterns from October Afternoon's Sarsaparilla collection.

And also made a round mini album that fits inside it:

My favourite bit is the little clockwork key in front that turns to show different  places one might be at...
Thank you to everybody who came to class! Hope you had fun!
